GENERAL:
A. All cars must be completely factory stock, bumper to bumper, with no high performance engine options allowed and no modifications to body, chassis, or engine allowed, motors will be limited to a 350 c.i.d. for Chevy and 351 for ford overbore will be limited to 060 over with stock parts no stroker combos of any kind allowed, a claim of $800.00 on the motor will apply car must finish in the top three spots, only the top six finishers can make a motor claim, claim must be made to the pit Stewart in cash and in writing before the top three cars have finished tech the track reserves the right to claim motor or any part at any time any claimed motor or part will be removed that night before the car leaves ona speedway refusing a claim will result in car and driver being banned from the speedway for the remainder of the season

SPECIFICATIONS:
1. No screw in studs, no roller tip rockers, engine and heads must match if you run a 305 then your heads need to be 305 ect: ect: casting numbers on block and heads must be visible to tech inspector when asked no headers unless its a factory item for car being run, reduction pulleys allowed.
2. Camshaft lift will be limited to 450 lift I.E. and must pull 19" of vacuum at 1000 rpm, no solid or roller cams allowed, no 4-7 swap cams allowed.
3. Roller cam allowed only if block being used had it as a stock installed item, cam lift and vacuum rules still apply hydraulic only no 4-7 swap cams allowed.
4. Radiators may be aluminum.
5. May cut the fender wells out for tire clearance only; tires not to protrude more than 2" past the body.
6. No vans, subcompacts, or station wagons.
7. All plastic, glass, carpet, and ignitable material must be removed (except dash). Must have front and rear firewalls. Completely sealed.
8. Cars that have raced in the upper division classes must start on the tail in the feature race EVERY race if they can pass tech.
9. Following a win, both car and driver will begin the next three features at the tail of the race.
10. No fuel additives of any kind, race fuel allowed but not recommended in a STOCK MOTOR.
11. Any D.O.T. Passenger car Tire Allowed. 60-70 series / no 50 series/ 8" track tire allowed D- 2663 or D-2462 Goodyear.
12. Wheels MUST be same diameter on all four corners. Aluminum or steel O.E.M. racing rims allowed any offset.
13. 5° max right front chamber 3% max left front camber all other wheels 0 camber
14. All Ona Speedway safety rules apply.
15. After market air filter allowed. if you cut a hole in the hood for clearance you must seal it (no open hoods).
16. Detachable steering wheel allowed.
17. Stock carburetor/fuel injection system for that make and model. No turbos or supercharged systems allowed.
18. Battery can remain under the hood or it can be installed behind the driver's seat in a metal container.
19. Two hood pins in front part of hood AND to the rear of the trunk.
20. Doors must be welded shut or bolted.
21. If a lexan front window is not used, 3 bars must be installed in front of driver seat.
22. Lead ballast allowed. Must be securely fastened with driver's number painted on it.
23. Dashboard must be in place.
24. A Holley 4412 carburetor can be run in place of fuel injection. You must use a mechanical fuel pump if your block allows if not you will be allowed an electric pump set at 7 lbs max and must have a gauge that shows 7 lbs only no exceptions, stock cam and intake and maximum of 1" spacer. No bowtie intakes.
25. Any carbureted engine must use a mechanical fuel pump.
26. Stock suspension only for car being run no truck or station wagon springs allowed/ no performance items allowed/ stock shocks in stock location no coil over type shocks allowed.
27. In order to let you learn how to adjust a race car the following items will be allowed
28. Spring hangers for leaf spring cars/ rubber spring spacers for the front.
29. Rubber spring spacers for coil spring cars.
30. Stock sway bar with stock bolts long or short or mixed.
31. No more than 51% left side weight with driver allowed.
32. All cars must weight 3200lbs after the race.
33. 5" minimum frame height allowed.
34. Fuel cells allowed.

NUMBERS:
1. All numbers MUST be reserved. Numbers for drivers from previous year will be held until February 1 of the next year. (PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR NUMBER PRIOR TO THIS DATE.) After this date, numbers will become available on a first come, first reserve basis. Reservations may be substituted in person, via e-mail, or phone. 3-digit numbers are NOT permitted.
2. Cars MUST be painted and lettered neatly. Cars MUST look like race cars. An 18" minimum sized number is REQUIRED on both doors and roof top. Roof number MUST be displayed for viewing from the right (passenger) side of the car. Numbers MUST be legible and visible to the scoring tower (do not use reflective lettering). If your number is not visible, YOU WILL NOT BE SCORED which will result in a loss of awarded points. (NO EXCEPTIONS).
3. The top 8" of windshield MUST be reserved for DIVISION SPONSORS. In order to earn the points and awards given by the SPONSOR, you MUST display their decals as REQUIRED.

MINIMUM SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
1. All cars are subject to inspection at any time. It is the responsibility of the driver to prepare their car FREE of defects and in safe operation.
2. Driver's door must be reinforced with three (3) door bars, 1.666 x .095 wall or greater.
3. ROLL CAGES: All cages must be made from round steel at least 1.666 x .095 inch thickness, seamless tubing. Galvanized Pipe Prohibited. All cars must be constructed with a 4-point roll cage consistent with the diagram in the current NASCAR Racing Rulebook. Front roll cage uprights will be no more than six (6) inches from the front windshield post measured at the base of the post to the roll bar cages must go from four points on the frame straight up to the roof following the contour of the windshield post in front, and follow the roof line to connect. Again, no offset cages left to right or front to rear. Bars must remain inside firewall.
4. Drivers seats must be welded or bolted to the frame and must be located a minimum of eight (8) inches from the inside of the closest drivers door bar.
5. Aluminum seats only. Rib rest and right side head rest shall remain flexible and shall not be reinforced.
6. Four (4) point racing belts with quick release are mandatory, and must meet S.F.I. specifications. No surplus belts. Must be mounted on roll cage approved by Tech Officials. Seat belts can be no older then five (5) years.
7. Window nets are mandatory. Window net must be full size ribbon or mesh type. Window nets must be up at all times while on the race track. It is mandatory that the NASCAR type seat belt buckle method of mounting be used.
8. Drivers must be protected at all times with a proper crash helmet meeting all Snell 95 or newer specifications (with sticker visible and unaltered) and a flame-resistant driving suit, top and bottom, meeting SFI specifications. Flame resistant under garments, socks and shoes are highly recommended. Gloves are mandatory.

INSPECTION:
1. All cars MUST meet minimum TECHNICAL and SAFETY inspection as REQUIRED. The top 3 cars, or as deemed by TECH OFFICIALS, MUST stop at the designated tech area after the FEATURE for minimum inspection or they will be immediately disqualified. The DRIVER with the car will be the ONLY persons allowed in the TECH AREA.
2. TECH OFFICIALS may request additional cars for inspection as requested and or as deemed necessary.
3. Any driver refusing or not complying with inspection request will be immediately disqualified.
4. Any car found not in compliance will be immediately disqualified. Disqualification will result in loss of points, awards, and money.

NOTICE:
Anything not covered by the following rules, abuse of the rules, and a creative interpretation of the rules should be checked with through the ONA SPEEDWAY TECH INSPECTORS before proceeding. Any decision on questionable items about rules is up to the EVENT DIRECTOR and the TECH INSPECTOR and our decision is FINAL!


The above rules are set to provide for the orderly conduct of all racing programs at Ona Speedway. They are intended as a guideline and are in NO WAY a guarantee against injury or death to its participants. RULES MAY BE CHANGED AT ANY TIME FOR THE GOOD SPORT OF RACING. Any interpretation or deviation of the rules will be left to the decision of the officials whose decisions are final.
